Hey guys, another update has come! :)

So Chowking is one of the famous restaurants of the Philippines. Well, everybody wants to taste their dessert. So, the million-dollar question is: Whatcha gonna do with that dessert?

Hahahaha I'm just playing with y'all (It's a line from a song, it's called Dessert by Dawin).

Well, why spend some money when you can make one! I'd like to share a simple recipe that I googled (again), and this dessert from Chowking is called Halo halo.

Yeah, I bet you're wondering, "There's halo-halos everywhere, why would you pick this one??" Well, I just like to share my opinions about this dessert before moving on to the recipe.

I like halo halo, and my favorite part of this dessert is the rice pops and the ube ice cream. Oh, I also like the leche flan too! :)

I also like to mix them all together, so that the flavor will be more enhanced. You can do that too.

Okay, I'll just share my other opinions at the end of this post. Let's move on to the recipe! :D

So, here we go:

CHOWKING'S HALO HALO

INGREDIENTS

2 tablespoons kaong (sugar palm seed) 2 tablespoons sweetened langka (jackfruit strips) 2 tablespoons sweetened langka (jackfruit strips) 2 tablespoons sweetened white beans 2 tablespoons coconut sport strips (macapuno) 2 tablespoons red monngo beans 2 tablespoons sweetened plantains (saba) 2 tablespoons purple yam jam (ube) 2 tablespoons crème caramel custard (leche flan) 2 scoops of your fave ice cream 1 cup crushed ice or shaved ice ¼ cup evaporated milk 1 tsp white sugar (this is optional)

PROCEDURE

1. In a clear glass bowl, place a cup of shaved or crushed ice. 2. Pour ¼ cup of evaporated milk. 3. Then add the first nine ingredients. 4. Top the two scoops of ice cream at the center. 5. Serve with a long spoon. **You can add more ingredients of your fave

That's all! I would recommend to go to Chowking and taste some of their dishes, especially their Chinese-Style Fried Chicken. :)

That's all I could update for now, stay updated! :D

From yours truly,

Kiana de Persia
